Pelatihan Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction untuk Menurunkan Stres pada Wanita Relawan Satgas DIY

Abstract

Women's participation today not only demands equal rights but also states that their function has meaning for development in Indonesian society. This study aims to determine differences in stress levels among women in the Yogyakarta Special Region task force. The research design is pre-test post-test control group design. The research participants were 10 women who were part of the DIY task force. Participants were divided into two, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group was given treatment in the form of Mindfulness-based stress reduction, while the control group received no treatment. The measuring instrument used in this research is a scale, the scale used to measure stress levels is a scale perceived stress scale 10 with a reliability of 0.83. Data analysis techniques using mann whitney u test and wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results of the analysis show difference stress level of the experimental group given treatment in the form of mindfulness-based stress reduction and the control group which was not given treatment with a Z value = -2.627 and p = 0.009 (p <0.005). Then there was a difference in the stress level scores of the experimental group before and after being given treatment in the form of training Mindfulness-based stress reduction with a value of Z= -2.041 and p=0.041 (p<0.05). Based on these results, it is known that mindfulness-based stress reduction has quite a significant influence on reducing the stress levels of the Yogyakarta Special Region task force women, so that the task force women can manage their stress levels well in their daily lives.
